  • All you tech guys...2001 Cadillac Deville Tire Pressure Monitor reset

I have a 2001 Cadillac Deville. I need to reset the Tire pressure monitor. It's not reading the sensor in the Left front tire.

I went to a tire place. There hand held devise detects it, so we know its working, but told me I needed the Key fob to reset it. It reads the tire pressure in the other 3 tires just fine. Just not the front drivers side.

We bought the car from the auction, and I do not have the key remote. So he tells me I have to go to the dealership to have it reset.

Is there something I can do to reset it without the Key remote, and without spending $$$ on a new one or taking a trip to the dealership? I don't need to spend the $$$ if there just going to push a few buttons and charge me for 2 hours of labor lol.

    Thx

The only way to put it into "learning" mode is with the key fob. That is how the GM tech manual instructs to do the re-learn, and that's how I've always done it in the past. Unfortunately, you don't have an option here.

thanks. I just sold the car. So now it's up to him to get it figured out. I just thought I could get a good quick fix for it.
