Have you ever used a handheld tuner like a Hypertech? I'm not saying thats the case but if you don't even know what ratio you have stock its not hard to select the wrong one.

Does it prompt you right away or is it something you'd have to go into? Sounds like the speed sensor is just off based off of the reply Eric got. Unless Tom Peters had something changed.

The tune's definitely been messed with. The speedo is off, and its not wanting to downshift when its supposed to. Either the computer was maladjusted for gears, or tires, or something. Campbell just drove it to confirm my suspicions. Still running okay, just not shifting when/where its supposed to. Will be making an appt with the Doctor immediately.

Weird - wonder who/why they would have messed with the tune... but glad that it's been solved.

Dont jinx me lol. We have a pretty good idea that's what the issue is. I'm still waiting on the call back from the Doctor. Then diagnosis and treatment will be established.

Did someone change the pcm because it had a good tune and wanted it and changed it from another car.

Still not sure...been waiting to get it in to Phil to get it tuned...thats really the only way to find out. Converter will be in in a week or two, its gonna need a full tune after that anyway...just enjoying the car for now!

Found out a couple things over the weekend. Car was tuned for 4.10's...but has stock gearing...not entirely sure why.(hence the speedo being off) Also found out the car was tuned for Regular/Midgrade fuel and not premium...Also found out the car was tuned pretty lean...got that all sorted out this weekend, will find out how much it affected it wednesday when I take it back to Milan. +1 To Dr. Phil
