You can buy a Scat9000 383 crank by itself, but that won't do you any good.

There are different ways to go about a 383. First you need to know if you need a 1 or 2 peice rear seal crank. I'm assuming 1 peice. Scat does make an interally balanced 1 piece rear seal crank that allows for your stock 5.7" rods. You will need the correct pistions though. And your block will need to be clearanced.

88 i think is one piece. id have to make sure. id rather swap rods and crank at one time and get it sent out for the overbore. im still pissed at how many things are incorrect on this engine91 Trans am, 305, Lt1 cam, 24lb injectors, headers, SLP LM2, SW chassis, massive panhard, lowered, modded TPI, Tuned, 4.10s, Lincoln locked

Correct, assuming they are usable. Your 6 & 7 issue makes me wonder. Are you doing a full rebuild now?
As for the offset...there shouldn't be any. The rod floats on the wrist pin. If it doesn't slide back and forth you have a problem.
Overbore (+.030) pistons if you decide to do a full rebuild.

those other pistons werent with overbore then and these are?
i mean i found two gouges and measuring the depth of them they are past .040. i feel like ive wasted money on buying a rering kit since i have to do a full rebuild now, which id feel better with, i cant believe the poor quality of the work and on a jasper rebuilt engine.
anyways i should use that crank http://www.cnc-motorsports.com/eagle...rankshaft.html
thes pistons and wrist pins if im going .030 http://www.ebay.com/itm/030-Coated-F...7466f1&vxp=mtr
use my stock 350 rods or in this case im using the ones off my friends engine he has laying around and paying him back when i can (its nice when your friends just offer more help than you could ever imagine when you hit issues with something)
if im not going with overbore then i use http://www.ebay.com/itm/STD-Coated-F...663#vi-content
and then all that leaves me with is boring/ new main bearings and a few gaskets, oh and the piston rings are stock sized but with the piston overbore, probably can get that from summit.
do you think those new bearings i bought will still be allright i hadnt torqued them down very much and i dont believe the guoges interfered with the bearing at all. i will make sure though.
sorry for asking so many questions i just want to do this right and get my truck back, its taken its toll mentally cause i want to make a project out of this thing now91 Trans am, 305, Lt1 cam, 24lb injectors, headers, SLP LM2, SW chassis, massive panhard, lowered, modded TPI, Tuned, 4.10s, Lincoln locked

I'd find a shop that will give you an honest opinion. You might be find with a ridge ream and a hone, and if the crank journals and bearings look fine you might not need a line hone. You can get a Scat9000 1pc. 350 crank for $170, that's the route I went.

without the overbore its not really a 383 though. nothings mushroomed the bearings look fine so i think i can get away with it. i already honed the cylinders but they still have a slight ridge, my friend can barely hang a nail on it, but if im rebuilding it i want it gone91 Trans am, 305, Lt1 cam, 24lb injectors, headers, SLP LM2, SW chassis, massive panhard, lowered, modded TPI, Tuned, 4.10s, Lincoln locked

I'd say that you're looking at a grand for block work, shop labor, parts, etc. just to get this thing running again.
I can look for my reciepts, but I think I have just under $500 into block/rod work. Degrease, .030 bore, line hone, new cam bearings, new freeze plugs, rods reconditioned, new pistons pressed on. I paid another $250 or so to have it fully balanced from the harmonic balancer to the pressure plate.

how much was just the bore, my neighbor is looking at all my bores and everything right now, and measuring them out they all seem to be up to par, close to no wear on them at all and they are all still in good round. out of curiousity what is a stock bore with a 383 crank? a 377? i think thats the route ill be going then new bearings/ i have most of the gaskets, i think i can reuse the rings i already bought if i can get them off without breaking them. i think ill try to find another lt1 cam too, i miss mine and now would be ideal time to do it and i did cam bearings last time i took it out so i know those are still good91 Trans am, 305, Lt1 cam, 24lb injectors, headers, SLP LM2, SW chassis, massive panhard, lowered, modded TPI, Tuned, 4.10s, Lincoln locked

jderry has one with 55k on it, he said to make an offer. I haven't bought it because I don't know if I'll build the little 305 for something or sell it cheap. You are welcome grab it. I have one on the shelf but it is pitted...so I pretty much have a useless carved stick of metal.
Oh, I got the axles a little while ago. The'll work great. Send me an address to mail a check. Thanks again!
