i paid less then that for my tune, but he mighta given me a deal.. when he dyno tunes the car, he then takes it out on the street and make sure everythings perfect.

should be tuned in this order
start, idle, drive , then WOT.

most tuners throw the car on a dyno. make a few pulls and call it good.
probably 1/3 of the people here could do the same if they had the software. cold start, idle , and drive is the hard part

I am a fan of both. Not that a dyno sheet means shit. Nice to know its at least somewhere it should be in the end though. As Jeff stated though. Track tells all. The ability to log data helps tremendously as well.

I want to make sure I am going to have the funds before I start calling and getting numbers and setting up stuff. I am in no rush to get this done.

i paid bakers (tj) $450 last summer and that included dyno and street tune

will have to also schedule another street tune for the new setup

                    This.

Street, Dyno, and Track are all entirely different tuning situations that should be done if you really want it done right.

Well i've driven to Benton Harbor in 2hr.30min... That's as far west as you can get from me. Either way, not concerned with the distance. Is there a city name?? 3 hrs away tells me nothing.

I paid $400 last year for a dyno tune(nitrous), followed by a street tune... My car has never ran better...

I need to get a wideband so I can do more learning with tuning...no time for it now though.

Definitely street over dyno as far as street drivability goes, although mine is still a pain.

                              Used to own a Firebird.
