Just make sure you install it on the low pressure side. Other than that, just find a spot and install the cooler then run hose. You can add fluid directly to the cooler after install or keep checking the reservoir often (run for a few seconds, check, run for a few seconds, check, etc)

It will have high pressure crimped fittings. Return should just have hose clamps.Originally posted by Gaspo View Posthow do you know which side is the high pressure side?2015 Silverado

Like mentioned before install it on the return side (low pressure side) and make sure it can get some kind of air flow. You could get one off a LS1 F-body and install it in the vehicles cooling system.

Definitely a good idea, I had mine boil over at BeaveRun and since then installed a Z06 cooler and never had another problem. Pretty sure Joel boiled his over at Grattan too! Maybe see if you can pick up a cooler from a C5 Z06? I would assume it would probably be a pretty simply install other than finding a place to mount it on an f-body.sigpic

how well does it really work on the cooling system? doesnt it get cooled by the coolant? seems like one that is like a mini-radiator would work better.. am i thinking right or no?98 z28, m6, monster clutch, eibach pro kit, custom twin turbo setup, 317 heads, z06 valve springs, arp rod bolts, 512rwhp at 10lbs. cobra eater

I'd assume it would use the radiator like a transmission cooler. I know like on trucks the option is for heavy duty to have an external cooler. I have no idea it's quite interesting.Originally posted by Yoshi94Mines about an inch bigger than Kyles. I am going to be installing a PS cooler when my car goes back together.
If you get an external tube and fin style with hose barb fittings, then it'll be really easy,
your return it the rubber hose that feeds into the bottom of the reservoir, pull that off, and if you can fin a place close enough, then you just need to stick that hose on the oil cooler, then get piece of hose to go from the cooler, back up to the reservoir. real simple.
Good Luck!
