Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

rollng my window down yesterday and almost near the bottom i heard and felt the window and more hit the bottom of my door. now i have to tear it apart and see. any ideas?
also i got teched at martin for not having a battery hold down. anything out there aftermarket thats decent
there is a bearing that rides in a track that is mounted to the regulator, it usually wears at the mount and breaks off. Fix new regulator, or have it welded. either way you have to pull door panel, glass, and regulator. Plan on a full day of frustration.

What L2 said... Isn't your battery in the original location? I have the hold down piece, you could borrow it to get through tech and return when done.. I don't need it anymore since I moved my battery, but want to hold onto it, just in case..
well it wasnt as difficult as i expected. seems when i replaced the window motor and bolted in the new one i failed to add lock washers or loctite to the bolts and two bottom ones came off allowing the motor to swing out dropping the glass. quick fix with new nuts, bolts, and some loctite and its like new.
larry id rather just get it fixed and not have to deal with it again. i appreciate the offer though
