  • Noise from Intake

I picked up a 97 firebird 3.8 dirt cheep that had sat for at least 3 years maybe even longer, I got it running a few weeks ago and I notice when it first starts in the morning it sounds like a water pump going out but it is coming from the intake and after it warms up the sound quiets down. Ive worked on a few other firebird 3.8 that have had the same sound and just never really payed much attention, But because this is going to be my daily driver I want to address the problem if it is a problem or is it just normal engine noise. she fires right up, ildes smooth runs great and seems to have lots of power. The car has 165k and the motor has ~90k
