Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

I never got that nor fully understood it. If someone has the ability to run the VIN or has some carfax credits why is it so bad to help someone out? I mean they did get their money if someone bought 5 credits and only used 4 of them and used their last one to help a friend, in the end they still got their money.

x2 I don't understanf how it is unethical. I have my brother look up vins for me but I am not going to bother him because I will have too many people asking for "favors"
I agree, but I think if you buy the dealer version, there are limitations and they frown upon advertising it for uses other than your own (I could be wrong on this, can't remember all the verbage from when I bought only 5 credits). I'd imagine it's hard to delineate helping out a friend vs. making a business deal on a car online, so most forums just ban asking for carfaxes in general. Pretty sure there is a rule on this site somewhere about this topic........

oh yeah from that angle I agree totally, and I think there is a rule on this site about it, I was just asking more so for informational purposes so I hope thats ok. I remember when I bought a few credits I think I only used 2 of them for "me" but then ran a car from my brother and etc. I agree with the dealer one, but not "anyone" can buy that option, I believe at least could be wrong.
