i have a 1995 trans am with the lt1.. i was drivin 2day and it started runnin real rough. and at idle it shakes the whole car and the battery gauge was bouncing around really bad and under any harder acceleration it pops real loud and steady. someone please help antone know wats goin on ?....fyi last year i installed a msd pro billet distributor with coil and 8.5 wires with bosch plus 4 plugs. also have headers with bosch 02 sensors.

check battery wires, sounds like its loosing charge. checl alt wire, make sure they are tight

they all seem 2 b ok...i did notice the back ac mount is broke and the ac wont work cood that have somethin 2 do with it ?

ok heres the lasted updates....changed air temp sensor, massairflow sensor cleaned , throttle body cleaned ,.... tried with o2 senors massairflow and air temp unpluged still doin it.....looked under valve covers looks fine dumpin alot of raw fuel out exhaust and it smells bad....backfirein bad loud... fuel presure looks ok set timing to 0. coil and icm r ok. all spark plugs were black and wet with fuel so put some new ac delcos n . im so confused anyone have any ideas ????

sounds like your plugs arent gettting all the juice they need. thats where i would personally start. see if anyone has a stock opti and all and see if thatll fix your problem. if your all MSD then they have to have perfect voltage. i had roughly the same issue with an old BBC i had back in HS where at idle she would run rough cause the alternator wasnt pushing enough juice to keep the MSD running at full power. check and make sure you got full volts to the opti and coil and all and make sure your voltage coming out is what it should be. im not exactly sure what the voltage should be, but make some phone calls and ask around

ok i was the distirbutor.. yea my brand new less than 500 miles msd went bad.
