Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!

not sure if they will tune the LT1 pcm, I doubt it
I doubt it too. I talked to Phil and he made me feel embarrassed for even asking if he would tune my bastard LT1. He said something to the effect of all the LT1 owners that ask him for a tune he hardly ever gets around to actually tuning it because they're always broken down.
Steve at Vector Motorsports will tune LT1s, he tuned my car. He's in Clinton Township across the street from Katech. Shook Rd and I-94.
Speed Inc in Elk Grove Village ILL (West Chicago Suburb) still does LT1s. Deffinately worth the drive IMHO. Were taking the E85 build there next summer for a tune. Eric L

why wont so many dyno the LT1's? Ive heard theyre not as easy to do but I guess never knew the reason why they would turn down business. What did yours put down on the rollers? or did you just get a tune without a dyno

I think it's just the egotistical attitude that it's LSx or nothing at all, personally. Mine was street tuned by Steve which he does on the side for cheaper than a dyno tune. If you're going for how well it'll run, street tune is the way to go. If you just want a tune to make the most HP, dyno tune is the way to go. I had it on the dyno this past summer and it put down about 322hp, 325tq or something like that.
