Looks like an intake leak and a few bad injectors. Were you picking up any timing retard?

Are you SURE the heads arent thin and allowing the gaskets to seep? Its possible for studs to do this, but not likely. Check the deck surface of the block over REAL closely for cracks etc. Double check the heads for the same. Just throwing things out there. Good luck bro. Eric L

i think its a combination of headgaskets and head bolts. Its a gamble, but I think GM gaskets and ARP bolts/lube will fix the problem.-Joel

He has arp head bolts not studs, there's no doubt the studs would provide a much greater clamping force. Wouldn't he be able to tell easily if its a headgasket though. Are these mls gaskets or a different material?Doing less with more

I dont believe they are MLS gaskets. I think he said they were .026, which IIRC would make them the Mr gasket 5716? steel shim gasket. Which I personally prefer to slightly mill the head after pulled, before replacing them. Just in case. Eric L

No I didnt because I seen the oiled down 4th cylinder so I just pulled the heads.Originally posted by Dudek View Postyou said you were losing coolant but you didn't state if you did a compression test?
PCV system: filter on each valve cover vented to atmosphere. along with the stock PCV valve.
My main concern is #4 cylinder. I dont even know if it was really losing that much coolant to be sorried about, it could have still been filling up the block. Larry, I think what you're seeing is just camera flash
