Has anybody used one of the g tech performance meters (or something similar)? Thinking about getting a cheap used one for testing.

I've got a G Tech that I use every once in awhile. Their a nice item to have, but you'll want to burn your tires off at every stop sign attempting a new PB 60' time! Alot of cool gadgets in them including G meter, and shift light.sigpic1994 Camaro Z28 83K M6, CAI, AFR 190cc, 11.6:1, Hooker headers, Hooker ORY, Mangnaflow exhaust, AI 230/238, 1.6 RR, B&M Short throw, Hays clutch, 4.10 gear.

manuals should be launched off the limiter and the throttle shouldn't leave the floor til 10 feet after the finish line

I had one years ago and didnt think it was very accurate for quatermile times myself. Eric L

Seems to vary about a tenth to my actual 1/4 times, maybe even .20 on a bad day. You do get bored of them after awhile. The good news is you can always re-sell them and get your money back if you wanted to...sigpic1994 Camaro Z28 83K M6, CAI, AFR 190cc, 11.6:1, Hooker headers, Hooker ORY, Mangnaflow exhaust, AI 230/238, 1.6 RR, B&M Short throw, Hays clutch, 4.10 gear.

Cause your quater mile mph is averaged over the last 300 ft or so. Im not sure why, but thats how the tracks do it. Eric L
