  • 1994 trans am fuel problem

    i have a 1994 trans am with 112k

it has 30lbs of fuel pressure at idle. seems low to me. if i give it quarter throttle it pulls strong, if i give it full throttle it falls on its face and stays at like 5,000 rpm. idk what wrong....
    is my fuel pump weak?
is my fuel presure regulator bad?
    i know nothing about lt1's

    any help is greatly appreciated
    thanks

Should be closer to 40 psi with the vacuum hose off the regulator IIRC. I would say your probably losing a fuel pump. Eric L

          change the filter
unplug the reg to see if the pressure rises

Sounds like your fuel pump is gone or is working on it

k thanks everyone for the help. i hope its the fuel pump. it barely drives, runs like shit, anything above quarter throttle and it goes slower cause runs out of fuel
