My 97 SS has the 6 speaker CD stereo system in it. It dosent say monsoon on the HU anywhere, but it does have 6 speakers. I know that the back seat speakers are subs, and the front and rear speakers are the highs and mids. I would like to keep the factory HU but replace the speakers with upgraded units. I know also that the factory speakers are 2 ohms. Any recomendations on replacement speakers? Can I make it sound decent with the factory HU, or is an aftermarket HU a must. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks Eric L

I have MB Quart in mine.. They kick ass.. I don't have a stock stereo though, but I would think they would sound much better than stock, regardless..sigpic
