Some cars you can...some you can't...I think it's all been broken down for 01s-02s...and it's easier if you have a Pontiac thanks to PHS...

Pontiac Historical Services has been a wonderful recourse for years. I wonder what's going to happen to it now, with Pontiac going away? It would be a shame if all the data is lost.

I have a car fax on it from when it was purchased and i think it says what dealership it was purchased at...or at least what city and im sure there can only be 1 chevy dealership in a city.

PHS is privately owned (Jim Mattison) so Pontiac going away should not impact it at all...it may actually help PHS in a warped, twisted sort of way as Pontiac has been suing PHS to recover all the old documentation that they have...

On the inside of your console there should be a white sticker with all the RPO codes listed on it (other locations could be glove box or trunk lid depending on what year the car is).

PM me a list and I can decode them for you...

I know Jim Mattison. I knew he worked with the PHS, but didn't know he owned it. I have not seen him in several years now. Great guy. He worked in Chevrolet Central Office in the late 60's. All the COPO stuff came across his desk.
