  • Help I have no brakes. No one seems to carry the line I need

Ok here how this goes I'm coming home from work on sunday night right before I go to park my car the brakes go out. I mean no brake pedal at all car does not want to stop. I got it stoped got out looked at it. One of the rear lines that goes from the lines from up front leading to the rear end went out. Now its my Formula that I have in my sig. It has traction controll on it which has different lines from all the others of corse. I have been to the dealer no luck no longer made. Auto zone does not even list out for it. Advanced auto lists a discontinued Bendix number for it and the local family owned shop I go to lists a wagner again discontinued.

So were the hell do I get this part from. It a ruber hose with female ends about 8-9 inches long.

Take it off and go to a hydrallic hose company and ask them if they can make you one.

ya its the flex hose thats leaking. I'm down to the point of having one made I think. 2 question that I have tho first if I do have one made who would do such a job I don't really know even were to go to have some one do some thing like that.

Second question what are the chances of a 98 or newer bird with traction controll rear hose working? because they list out for that. Would there be a difference I would think not.

No prob - that's where I bought my stainless steel hardline brake kit - every hard line for the whole car. They had the flex line too but I didn't buy it because the rubber lines all looked brand new still.
