  • Alternative to Simpson 5 points?

Been pricing simpson 5 point cam locks, pretty pricey. Is there a decent, less expensive 5 point cam lock on the market? Looking for black only..

Just my .02, but Simpsons are expensive for a reason...and I'm not sure if this is where you want to start cutting corners...

                I'd get Simpsons.

As Jeff says, they're expensive for a reason.

You're paying alot for a name... If they meet IHRA/NHRA standards, I don't see why I can get someting cheaper.. I just like to convenience of a cam lock, people get confused trying to figure out how to latch themselves in..

What Simpson p/n are you looking at? I might be able to help you a little on price.

I can also get RJS, Impact, and g-force that I can think of.

Just go to my site, and click on the "manufactures" button. I have links to all of the manufactures web site's. Might help you find something.
