I did not see any other area on the forum to discuss camshafts im trying to decide right now between the ms3, tsp 233/239 and the btr stage 3 I want a cam thats not going to spin over 7k I see the ms3 peaks around 6500-6600 so that works for me and I can run it with a 3600 stall whats your guys opinion

My plans with the car to break into the 10s, currently I have 1 7/8 LT with 3" in xpipe dumped before the wheels and as soon as the sales guy gets his bulkhead fitting in my LS2D will be getting shipped, there is a guy on ls1tech running the MS3 on a 111LSA and his TQ curve looks awesom and completly different than quite a few graphs I have seen of the MS3

I have seen a couple graphs of the tick cams and they had some nice TQ as well

To get into the 10's you're going to need good heads, a FAST intake, a 4000 stall converter, a good drag pack wheel tire setup, and then when you break your 10 bolt, an aftermarket rear.
Getting as much weight out of the car as possible will help immensely

Well I knew that it was not going to be super easy to do, but I am not going to strip anything out of my car I wan a full interior and air conditioning eventually I will also be going to a LS2 and if I have to stroke that then so be it lol

Might as well do a LS3 striker.

I had a BTR stage 3 NA cam along with their springs and pushrods put in my 5.3 this spring and I love it. I've got a LM7 with LS6 intake and SLP lid, 1 3/4 long tubes, ORY with a 6" Magnaflow race muffler and a dump before the axle and shitty stock heads and my car made 390/410. It pulls until about 6k in my setup.

Right on them headers are going to hold your setup back even stock the 1 7/8 make better power but with those numbers im not impressed by the btr cam when the MS3 and polluter are both making 400+ rwhp in cam only set ups

Rwhp numbers depend on the type of Dyno used. A Mustang Dyno reads about 10% less than others so don't go by Dyno numbers as gospel
