Broad statement, Rolo...how far do you want to go?

Including trans? Manual or auto? Rear end? Suspension? Cooling system? Tune and computer flash? If you do suspension, are you going to do brakes as long as you're there? You doing the work, or are you farming it out? Parts only, or parts and labor?

Lotta questions if you want specifics...

I want to stick it to auto..of course I want to upgrade the rear brakes to disc instead of the brake drums

Um..might find someone to do it for me, or have someone help me and give me a hand (new to this so might be best for someone to do it for me, but i want to learn)

How much would it cost for a shop to do it?

What ever the main things are to do the swap, if there are things i really dont need then I dont really care for it..just the main things to get the motor under the hood and have it riding right with nothing breaking and what not.

If you want it done right, everything I listed there should be done.

Does it all have to be done at the same time? Almost. The suspension and brakes can be done at another time.

A shop will charge $50-75 an hour to do it, but there's a couple of guys here on the board that are certified ASE mechanics (Larry, 1BADAIR, comes to mind...I know there's at least one or two more) who would be extremely helpful.

Long story short, I'll let one of the LS gurus chime in here, but I'm betting 8 to 10 grand to do it right, and that's with some help. And don't forget to budget for the little stuff (i.e. tuning, driveshaft, etc.) 'cause that is what will break you.
