It all depends on what kinda budget you have
    its all $$$$$$$$$$$

i would run a good alum head, a stealth ram intake, and roller cam. i can give you some combos if you would like and some HP ## THAT they should make.. from privious dyno's .. Justin

TPI is tricky cause the dont breath well in the upper RPM so you need a good cam for down low... if your going to stick TPI then get a good Torquer cam, i actually just saw a 383 TPI motor with heads intake and everything off an 1988 Z28 on ebay down in ohio was just over 500 bucks last i saw right near sandusky for pick up..

          http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...8042830&rd=1,1

a tpi 383 is a nice setup for tpi cause strokers are good for TQ and that lower rpm range with still make some power

if you want to rev past 5,500 rpm and get hp more than tq your gonna wanna ditch or upgrade that TPI setup there are a few nice after market intakes and runners to open up the TPI but still nothing too extream

and this will save you the cost of building a 355 can probably save a little money and toss into a new cam or maybe retrofit roller setup

                bunch of TPI haters! LOL!!

Get a nice roller cam, Nice set of heads (1.6 roller rockers), port the crap out of the plenum, Hi-Flow runners, Hi-Flow intake, 52 or 58mm throttle body.
Make sure you get a AFPR, make sure u update the injectors (I have LT1 24# ones in my 305).

You get a supercharger on that thing....It will be totally SICK!!!!

And dont forget a nice tune!

there is nothing to hate about a TPI just has to be setup right, build it to match the TPI operating range and you still can make plenty of power
