do you plan on using the MSII to control ignition timing? i know for a while that ppl were saying you couldnt get the MSII to decode the high-res pulse from the optispark. however, there is a guy over on camaroz28.com that has claimed to have figured the whole thing out and is using MSII to control fueling and ignition with the optispark.

      good luck with the swap.

I plan on fuel and spark whenthe time comes. my i am sure this will not be till winter when i think about installing it on my car. Also i hear people just drilling a whole in the back of their intake and runing a HEI distirb.

I am not even sure wheir to even start on adding a hei to my lt1.lol

if you are not sold on keeping the optispark around, i would loose it all together, use a crank wheel and coil packs in wasted spark mode or ford edis module.

          fun project either way.

i two aftermarket systems, 1 fast and 1 gen vii dfi. and absolutely love real-time tuning.

                megasquirt edis info

you will need a 36-1 wheel that is modified to run on the back of the balancer, the sensor and a fabbed up bracket.

the wiring is not too difficult at all.
