  • Thanks so much guys for the compliments!

About the FRC's.....yeah I know, Corvette....blah. I got them when I bought the motor, that's why they are on there, like Wade said. Even though they say Corvette, they still look better on there than without any cover at all. I've said it before...LS1's are ugly motors up top. The coil packs ruin the clean look. I suppose I could do a coil relocation set-up and get some nice billet valve covers for it. But most likely I will run these covers until I come up with something new......I am really leaning towards making a set of carbon fibers covers and putting the "camaro" script on them. I've got some ideas what I want, but like I said before, it's rather low on the priority list though. I'll try snapping a pic tonight of the motor without the covers on for all you haters

    • take some filler and sand down the covers and repaint something good on there or send them to Stryker and have him work his magic like he did with Jonny's stuff.

The FRC's look good on your car because the entire engine is out in the open. on a 4th gen they look alot better without covers because the back half of the engine is covered up with the wiper cowl

                        • You need one of them Holden full engine covers! There's a guy on LS1tech that has company that sells carbon fiber FRC's and intake covers. You can even get colored carbon fiber.
