  • ls2 6.0 swap 370CI or 408CI

What is needed to take a stock 6.0l block ls2 and make it a 370ci or a 408ci motor?

Lots of $$$$. Stroker crank rods pistons
When in doubt, Whip it out !

370 is stock crank. 408 is 4" stroke crank. Depending on goals, there's no reason to run the 408. Stock crank is good for over 1000hp

LS2's are normally 402/403 - to leave some meat on the cylinders.

        Iron 6.0's go 408.

To get a 6L out to 370ci take boring it .030 over. This would require resleeving it correct, being that a LS2 is an aluminum block that has iron sleeves? Same with the 408, its a 4.00" stroked 4.030" bore.

I think the aluminum block can be bored out .030 with out issue. Correct me if I'm wrong

you are correct, no resleeving necessary.
