I wanna do this swap and see its been done before,but the question arose how do you use the throttle body off a supercharger out of a regal GS or Gtp it would hit the fire wall..

You need to have the super charger cut, and have a machinist make a custom "U" onto it.

Same money gets you an LS swap if I'm not mistaking. Plus you enter the large vast world of LS performance which is much more traveled and documented with more options and communities, plus potential for more power. Oh, and two extra pistons.

No s10's came with the 3800, just the 60° 2.8l and the 90° 4.3l
Not sure if you're looking to do an intake swap or a complete engine swap, but you can use older BOP 60* trans with the 3800

It would be neat, but make less power and have similar gas mileage as a 350. If you know someone who has decent fabrication abilities it would not be too bad. Just get a GTP dropout, pcm, wiring harness and make it happen.sigpic
