  • Having some wiring issues with my swap.

I have found that my 1995 LT1 engine harness and my 1996 V6 body harness have different wires in different places, also the V8 harness has an extra plug that is not on my body harness, is there a write up between 1995 and 1996 swaps?

Did you not see the long post I gave you which spelled out what wires were different between the two?

I did, but there is even an extra plug. I need to re-read that I guess, see if I am missing something.

Where is the plug located? (passenger side shock tower, interior kick panel, etc) and how many wires are going to it?

        Here's my post:

It is going into the car through the firewall, three wires, black plug.

That'd be C210 -- you should have had it on the 96 harness but in 96 you probably had 4 wires.

I swapped all of my AC stuff for LT1 models when I upgraded from my v6, so yeah you might have to.

Next issue,my K member is about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch off, is this typical? Or possibly bent from accident?
