  • New wheels shipped out today. Scott @ OE Wheels has been pretty good to deal with - I'd still recommend them as a company to do business with.

    • Did they roll up in a nice paper bag like the last packaging effort?

Nah, no box this time, they just slapped the UPS label on the barrel of the wheel and called it good

Nice...they should match as nicely as your tires then

Yes, but I'm waiting until I receive my new ones. Originally they wanted me to send mine down, then they would send me new ones after they received the damaged ones. I didn't want to wait another two weeks, so I'm floating the balance of an additional two wheels for now.

                • what do you mean your floating the balance? You have to wait anyhow since you dont have tires yet right? Your not going to mount tires on those wheels then switch when the new ones come in are you?

No no no... I had to pay for 2 additional wheels for right now - they will refund the balance after I ship mine down to Florida. I didn't want to wait another 2 weeks to ship mine down there then have them ship new ones back up here. I still need front tires, rears are sitting in the garage

Still looking for a 275/35/18 tire, will consider a 265 or 255 width also. Will probably just order some off tire rack tomorrow if nothing else turns up.

                        • Just got back from Belle Tire picking up my wheels/tires after they mounted them.... The rear wheels came with complimentary deep scratches in the machined lip! Waiting to hear back from them tomorrow after they have a wheel repair guy look at them. Btw, I will not be accepting repaired wheels, these wheels have clear coat over everything. No way to fix that properly as far as I know...
