X2 - I did mine with niteshade and I get TONS of compliments on how good they look. Its all in the methodology IMO.

    • Red Paint is DONE

Stopped by the paint shop today, the red paint is done... and it looks AWESOME

The hood looks better than OEM and the front bumper cover, headlight doors and mirrors all look great without all the rock chips. The blending onto the fenders and doors looks fantastic.

I think the "smooth locks" turned out great too. He actually removed the lock cylinders, attached the "smooth lock" cover and painted it as an assembly. Then cleared over the whole thing.

Anyways I'm thrilled and I can't wait to see it with the CETA mod painted and all of the vents repainted satin black and reinstalled.

It's a real cool shop. I'll be stopping by again tomorrow probably around 5 if you want to tag along. It's in Troy. The specialize in hot rods and flat head Ford motors. Really neat place...

Are you guys tired of the pictures yet? ...you were warned in the first post...

Well I stopped by again today to see where they were at with things. He wasn't happy with the front bumper and headlight covers, they had a couple dirt specs in them... so he'll be respraying them tomorrow along with the CETA exhaust area. The lights in the shop were off by the time I got there, so sorry about the picture quality. Anyways, not much new besides the engine bay shots. If you recall, the underside of the hood was black and the strut tower brace was blue-ish/purple
