          • It's time for new rear shocks... I think I want Bilsteins and I've heard they are some specifically valved for lowered cars. Anyone know where I can find them? Only looking to swap my rears out right now.

FWIW, I am not at all disappointed with getting 2 years and 7k miles of use out of the Monroe Sensatracs. They were great for the money, I'm just ready for something that will allow me to carry a third person or a couple sets of golf clubs without hitting the fenders on big bumps

I may pick them up from you if they'll work after I do the hose mod.

We'll see, but I don't think they're blown out. They still work fine, I just want a stiffer shock.

Tell the parts store guys your car bounces like a pimp caddy with them. You will get new ones.

                          • They'll be blown out soon enough.

One guy with a Cobalt went through about five sets of them in half a year because they kept breaking. I think it ended up being a design flaw though.

                            • Any bilstein should be considerably stiffer than a monroe. Check coloradospeed, they had the best price on the spring/shock combo of anywhere i found. Maybe you should do koni adjustables though

I've thought about it. Andy (Emulsified) was telling me the other day that the SA Konis for 3rd gens still work, but they're no on-car adjustable. He said they're only like $110 which is only $20 more than Bilsteins I think.
