Need help with my 95 3.4 v6!!!!!

So i finally got my new motor in my car,hooked the harness up, finally put the battery back in, got really excited, turned the key.... and all it did was crank. I'm getting spark, im getting fuel, so what the hell could it be!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Its driving me insane! I'm close to giving up and sending it to a shop but dont really have the money for it... If anyone has any suggestions or could come take a look i'd be glad to pay you instead of a shop! Please lemme know I'm runnin out of options. Thank you!!!!!

Did you drop in a 'yard engine or did you build this one? If the rockers are too tight it won't fire.

I built the engine from the block up... Everything in it except the heads push rods and rocker arms has been replaced. The specs for the rocker arms were 35 lbs on alldata and shopkey5 so thats what i torqued em too.... Is there a way to test this? I'm not sure i was thinking maybe the timing... cuz me or any of my buddies can remember if the #1 cylinder was at TDC when i put the chain on... is there anyway of checking to see if its the timing?
