hope this helps some if you are doing a carb 305 and using the t5 its not too hard of a swap. mainly the correct engine mounts on the crossmeber a v8 bell housing and clutch.sigpic

Come on guys maybe all he has is the 305 and no more money to put into it, so how about we help him with what he asked us for..
I have been in his shoes many times too. The article on thirdgen.org is a good one about the swap, its not real hard just take your time and ask alot of questions.

LOL....I like my 305, although I have the TPI motor.
All depends on what you have though. Take into consideration that I would never swap in another 305 to replace mine. 350 all the way.
Is the 305 your putting in built in any way? Would it make sense to go to a salvage yard and pick up a running 350 for a cheap price?
You can put your 305 heads on the 350 to up the compression if you wanted to.
Just run all the options before go through all the troubles.sigpic
