Im trying to put the cradle back into my camaro but i can only get one side of the bolts to line up and i also tried to kity corner the bolts and still couldn't get them to line up. Does any body have any ideas on how to get the bolts to line up.

is this on your 94 V6? the 2 longest bolts on each side screw into taps that are movable. There is a locating pin on each side. if locating pins are in right hole, bolts should go right in.

Yeah i got a 94 z28 car that was wrecked so i decided to do a swap with my 94 v6 once my 6 started leaking antifreeze out of the block. I cant even get both of the guide pins to line up at all. I was thinking that since the car was hit in the front that it might have bent the crandle but there was no signs of it being bent or anything or my dad also mentioned that my frame rails could have sprung out a little bit when i took the old cradle out

What can i do about the fan plugs seeing there is only one on my wiring harness and i need two for the v8 fans?

Werd - dunno how I missed this thread from the beginning. Glad my dad was able to answer the first one but that's still weird that they don't line up. The tolerance on these cars seem to be all over the place and only furthers my belief of the problems with LPP headers being the cars themselves not the headers. But I digress, that's a different subject...

For the fans, I took the two power wires for the fans and the one power wire from the harness and soldered them all together, then did the same for the ground. Now - I don't know how good of an idea this is to be honest. Joel says that doing it that way will have noticeable drag on power when both fans are on.

Yeah i thought it was wierd to but the cradle must have got bent just enough not to fit when the car got in an accident cause i got another one and it went right in there. I was thinking that you could just splice the second fans plug into the single one but didn't know if it would affect how the fans ran

the fuse carries the load of 2 fans, the only diff is both fans run at the same time. On the normal 2 fan 1 turns on first the second on higher temp or with A/C. Some one jumpered my formy so both fans come on all the time, really makes it run cooler.

It does run cooler but the concern is about how much it's really taking away from the car. Joel said he can notice a difference in how peppy his car is when both fans turn on full blast.

Seems strange that the fans would make the motor loose power unless something else is wrong. Possibly a corroded terminal/connector somewhere with too high of a resistance and causing a huge voltage drop to the coils?

Both fans at full blast use a lot of juice so it's not so strange - it's like turning on your AC at full blast.

Is there any way around that so i dont lose any power or will i just have to deal with it.

you should have no problems 2 fans draw less than 15 amps. and should keep car around 180 degrees.
