    3.8L -> 5.3L swap

    Looks like the 327/5.3L swap is a superset of an LSx swap... that is, everything you'd need to change for an LS1, and then some, since it was never a factory engine for the vehicle.

    Reading around seemed to indicate the 5.3L's were not aluminum?

      The LM7 is an iron block. The LM4 and L33 engines are aluminum block. Just have to know what to look for.

              No kidding Rolo?

              I wasnt sure when I was going to do it, till the day before then I figured no one would come on such a short notice. Now I know, Shaun and Rolo in Lapeer and Steve is right in town.

              Steve where the heck in Burton Heights (or Burtucky) do you live?
