carb'd 357 swap into 95 3.4l camaro

Ok,
so i want to put the car away for the winter and put a nicely built 357ci sbc i built about a year ago thats just sitting in my friends basement. i feel like i put too much money into it to just let it sit and i want to do something more with the newer camaro i have now.

if anyone can help me with ..
tips, ideas, helpful hints, problems i will run into, etc. that would be awesome.
and most of all if its doable?

Are lt1 mounts the same a sbc? If so it shouldent be to hard except for fitting the intake and carb under the hood. Idk what kind of intake you have but you may need a cowl hood.. or a hole lol.

yeah the mounts are pretty identical and if worst comes to worst welding in mounts for the sbc are always an option.

i have a weiand stealth intake so that part isn't too bad on clearance, i am kinda scares about the distributor though.

Carbed motors in our cars usually require cutting the windshield cowl (where the wiper arms are) at the very least.

IIRC its for the distributor on a GEN I SBC to clear too, not the carb. I'm not sure how much has to be cut though.

BTW, how did you make it a 357?

shouldn't be to bad, I know where to cut the Cowl on the windshield i've helped a friend before with his 93 V6 and his bigblock All my buddys basically own Ratty dirt cheap 93's lol

ill actually be doing it at my grandparents house in troy, which is a little closer to mad heights.
they have a nice heated garage so im gonna take advantage of that

and i feel ya on the gas mileage thing my truck gets 12mpg ..

So i could come buy and help you and whatever, I just bought a 95 Black camaro 92k miles I've been itching to put a motor and trans in i got it for 900 bucks It has no rust or dents, the guy cracked the oil pan, and leaked it for 60miles, but hell got the lt1 and all with it.

but yeah i could help you out when im not busy
