List of 9C1 parts swap into fbody

I know this has been asked but I can't find it. Can anybody list the fbody parts I would need to do a Caprice LT1 to V6 Fbody swap please? Please also include approximate prices.

Alright. It depends on what year the 9C1 is. If it's a '96, you'll either need to run dual exhaust or replace the engine wiring harness and PCM, as in '96, the Caprice had a true dual exhaust system with 4 O2 sensors.

You will need to replace the transmission, trans crossmember, K-Member, instrument cluster, radiator (LT1 uses reverse-flow cooling system), exhaust, intake (you could probably use the ram air setup for the hood you have without problems). If the 9C1 is older than a '95, you're going to need the engine and transmission wiring harness from a '96 or '97 LT1 F-Body, since the Caprice had OBD1 up until '96, just like the F-Bodies. It's quite a bit of hassle to make a Caprice LT1 work, especially since the Caprice 9C1 LT1 only made 260hp, and the LT1 in the F-Bodies made 285hp. You'll have to do something more than just the swap to keep up with V8 F-Bodies. . .

Think about looking into buying a totaled V8 F-body and doing the swap from that?

F-Body LT1 parts needed:
Alternator
Power Steering Pump
Air Conditioning
Alt/PS/AC Bracket
Engine Mounts/Stands
LT1 Fbody Wiring harness
Trans. Cross member
Fbody lt1 Engine K member
V8 Steering Box (optional)

Also, the bbody water pump can be used, but you will need to run a T-Split in one of the coolant hoses. If you dont want to do that, you'll need a F-Body water pump as well

Its still a good deal, the engine (oil pan to TB), trans, PCM, starter, & sensors can all be used in the Bird
