Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

my nieghbor is moving and i would like to buy this 60's truck sbc 350 engine it is just the engine it has been sitting for a long time like probly atleast 7 years in his garage it needs to be completly rebuilt and he asked what would i give for it so i am coming to you what is it worth. it is a 4 bolt main stock 2 barrel.
thank you
I'd say in the 200 range, depending on if he's done anything to the engine or not though. If it's just a stocker 200, If it's built up i.e. aluminum rods, heads, performance intake, steel crank. It could be worth alot more.....
i believe it's completely stock and it has not been covered so all the holes are open and its been sitting on the floor for as long as i have known him i believe. it's pretty rusty and i believe the carb is locked up and i am not sure if you can turn the engine over or not that might be siezed to i am not sure i will check.
Basically the only thing your buying in that case is the 4 bolt main block itself, and possibly the crank. The heads, pistons, rods, intake, carb are probably ancient and obsolete. The 4 bolt main is a good building block though for future projects, just think of it like that, but don't spend over $100 on it.
ok i believe i ended up with a 305 instead of a 350. i dont have a caliper so can someone tell me the size of the bore on a 350 in like inches or something. there is no vin #'s anymore but the sides of the block say 010 and the back of the block by where the bellhousing bolts on the #'s are 3970010. can anyone tell me is this a 350.
thank you
