ive done out the top, but i would do out the bottom if i had a hoist. I hate wrestling transmissions on and off.

yea doing it out the bottom was easy I couldnt imagine doing it from the top

i agree 4th gen fronts is to short for a big engine.

yea you have to take EVERYTHING out for it to fit, and even then its really tight... the cowl almost always takes some abuse from it.

The only thing that really gets in the way is the brake lines coming out of your traction control module...but not that big of a deal
