          IDK, that would be the ultimate sleeper if they would have used a quieter exhaust and got it all to fit under the stock hood

                    I do not think it is a waste. They probably had the car before or bought a junkyard car and it seems like everyone and their brother has a SBC350 lying around so why not do something with it. Whats the difference between dropping a 350 into a VW Bug or a Datsun and a saturn? Seems like that is a fairly common occurence. Its not like they dropped an LS9 into it. They probably were out a couple grand and now have a cool little project that will keep up with a lot of faster cars including fbodies and some corvettes. Theres nothing to be ashamed of there.
