  • Specs on a 355 4 bolt main?

    What can I expect from a 355 4 bolt mated with a 700R4 in a 3rd gen firebird? Is there a significant difference from a stock carced 350 with a 700R4?

What do you mean? a "355" doesn't tell us anything about the motor, aside from bore and stroke.

Anything from 200 to 1000 HP. Not enough info to say. A 355 is just a 350 bored .30 over. Need to know interal components and specs.

Oh wow I did not realize that. I will have to get some more info. As far as I know it is all stock internals.

            Yeah, what James said LOL.

A mostly stock 355 with an aftermarket intake, 4bbl carb, headers and stock heads is likely to push 260-300 HP at the flywheel without any smog crap on it.
