  • Help / What should I do?

    Here's the scoop: I have a 94 3.4L Camaro. Recently I bought an LT1 - came out of a 95 Z28, complete with computer and wiring harness.

I contacted a company called Lory Transmission Parts (because they had an online catalog that had everything easy to find) looking for a bellhousing for the LT1.

Here's the problems: They told me that the 1994 4l60e bellhousing wasn't removable. I also searched on here earlier and found a thread that said that the 95 computer isn't compatible with any transmission but another 95.

    What should I do? Should I find a 4L60E from a 95 Z? Will the v6 bellhousing work?

Or should I just sell it all and try to get an LS1 car?

To my knowledge the bell housing is not removable, and the 95 computer is only compatible with 95. I THINK Your best bet would be to find a 95 lt1 tranny. Then I think all you need is the crossmember thing that the tranny mount bolts to from an lt1 car, im 99 percent positive they are different, v6 vs v8 that is, but you might be able to get around it by using the v6 mount.
