how difficult....motor mounts

as the trans will be out id like to replace the motor mounts. is this hard to do or need any special tools needed? its gotta be easier with the trans out right? any advice is greatly appreciated. thanks

not bad.
you will need to remove the power steering pump on the drivers side I think it is just cause the bolt is a bit too long. I turned the bolt around when I reinstalled it so that does have to happen again

Not to sure on your car but I can't imagine they'dbe that bad. I swapped them on a few LT1 cars and they were pretty easy.

sounds good then, shouldnt have a problem. might even keep my headers from hitting whatever they hit when im on it.

I changed the drivers side to stop the header bang. Then when I had the engine out I installed the pass side also

man i got my motor and tranny mounts today. the motor mounts do not look easy. there is no room with the headers. taking the headers out isnt an option because those were a pain in the arse also. someone has to have a secret????

Yeah.. i'd reccomend taking the headers out for ease of access..

They arent that tough.. ive done it a number of times.. its only about 2 hours at a very slow pace.
