interesting pick for sure, not really one that I would have seen coming as he was talking of selling his car recently and also is hardly ever seen on the boards other than in the classified section of camarov6 which he is the moderator, I have really never seen him post outside of that forum and don't even know what mods he has if any on his car as he never posts about it nor even has a power adder. Good luck with that, thought you were looking for someone that would be seen everywhere and promoted. There were some better picks out there, not even including myself who are more worthy and willing to put the effort in to promoting it. Floyd, Dan, and a few others come to mind.

no here is another thread of his he made recently stating all the troubles he is having making ends meet with medical bills and such as he doesn't have a job...I just don't get the pick I guess when they wanted someone to promote it and be a power adder car.

talked to some people and found out he has found a job now and is moving to Chicago and will be working on the bird again instead of selling it.

So looks like it was a fine decision then. Still curious as to what power adder though.

OK Guys.... Hats off to Wes. for his honesty!
He regretfully had to decline the sponsorship offer as his build is to take place over the next year.

So with that said, I'd like to re-open the Sponsorship effort again but would like to make a few points clear. This may have been my fault from the first round.

The kit we are offering is the High Performance Kit, which is designed for Boost type applications as it includes the Forged Aluminum pistons which are 8.2-to-1 compression. We're obviously targeting a Super-Charged or Turbo-Charged set-up. I'd love to be sitting on alot of the 10-to-1 HP kits as I'd love to sponsor one of these N2O machines which applied.
Our goal here is to have the build done and running, producing real #'s in the next 2 to possibly 3 months.

The door is open once again and we will be picking a winner hopefully in 2 weeks.

thanks guys, problem is though that it is the 8.2:1 kit and not the 10:1 kit. 10:1 would be ideal with nitrous as it likes the higher compression. So I don't think my setup would show the kit's full potential like a turbo or supercharged car would. That is one of the reasons I didn't win the first time around.

I still have to decide what to do, to bad it wasn't where we could choose between the two compression setups.

Stroker Sponsorship Update...

Well guys, the replies came rolling in again and have been enjoyable reading about everyones' builds and intentions. Our intentions were obviously targeting the "Forced Air Induction". It appears only a handful with either supercharged or turbocharged apps., BUT a boatload of N/A and or N20 builds shared interest as well. I'm not even convinced we heard from 1/2 of the interested parties because of the lower compression ratio pistons we were offering with this kit.

So with this said, we are going to change things up a bit...!!!
You will have the option of choosing between the original HP kit which is targeting either TurboCharged or SuperCharged applications due to the 8.2-to-1 compression pistons. This kit is completely balanced as it sits.

Our newest option is the HP kit targeting N/A and or N2O applications as this kit will include our 10-to-1 pistons. This kit WILL need to be re-balanced or at least checked...
