Any ideas? All kinds of problems

Hi All,

Hey I just changed out my intake, had my injectors remanufactured, new TB, relocated the coil packs and removed the AIR system.. She'll crank right up and everything sounds normal.. After about 10 seconds my "Service vehicle" as well as my "Brake" and "ABS Inop" lights come on and it acts like it starving for fuel and dies.. My "SES" light does NOT come on.. Also my TCS does not come on after startup as it should.. I had a TCS issue last summer and it was because my MAP sensor was unplugged, once I plugged it in the TCS went back to normal.. I've checked the MAP sensor, Vacuum lines and all connections.. Any ideas off the top of your head, as to, what else I can check? I will have codes tomorrow, Mike(Turbocreeper) is lending me his scanner(Thanks Mike!)

All lights are off and TCS is back on.. Forgot I had loosened the grounds by the fuse box, once I tighted them all lights off.. Still does not want to idle right, maybe the guy who redid my injectors didn't do such a hot job.. Any idle suggestions? I can only rev it off idle the first few seconds it starts, after that it acts like it is starving for fuel..

did you happen to have the grounds on the back of the heads loose?

Well I'll take the hit for this one...lol When I was starting it last night I hooked the MAF up(wire connection) but did not connect it to the throttle body(I know what a dumb a$$...lol) I don't know what I was thinking.. So this morning hooked it up as it should be and I am back in bussiness!! Just thought I'd share this so no one else makes the same stupid mistake..

I think we have all done something like this.

But if the car was running good before you took it apart. You ethier have something not hooked up right or there is something with the injectors

That's why I was thinking injectors until I realized what I had done with the MAF.. Looks like I'll make the M&G afterall... Was wondering if I'd even be driving it this year after last night.. Sure wish winter would end!! Ready to do some cruisin!!

I found a guy on Ebay.. Came back looking better than new.. I won't know 100% how they perform until I can drive it.. But just got done letting it get to temp so I could do a few revs and it sounded fine..

Interesting? I might have to get me a set of 30#ers and get that done. $100 isn't to bad cosidering the price of a new set.
