yeah i had the 3.73's when i had my 10 bolt replaced once. i really liked them, so when i had my 9" built i went with the 3.89's...i didn't want a 4:10. even though they're good for M6 cars, i didn't feel it was necessary....hell now i want like a 3:23 or a 3:42 again for next year better load on the kanooter valve woosshhhhhh

3.89 seems pretty good for me, more balls than 3.42's but should stay "cruiseable"

yeah it's the safe choice between 3.73 and 4.11

the 3.89's worked perfect for how much my head/cam setup was playing around with...first and second gear were still a joke if i wasn't careful... and i was just about topping 4th when i was goin through the traps at milan...so that's basically what you're really looking for

Same here with the 4:10's b4 the big cam lol, now i probably would have to hit 5th

With the 3.89 70mph in 6th gear would be 1800rpm and with a 4.11 70mph would be 1900. Make the choice. there isent much or a difference. Shifting at 5700 with the 4.11 would run 1st out to 40mph and the 3.89 would take it to 42 shifting at that same 5700rpm

yeah its not much of a difference.. people see the 4:1 and think oh shit, when really its only a .20 difference. I'll sell you my set of 3.73s for $90, $110 for everyone else

those 3.73's are for a 10 bolt

GO with the 4.10s Its kinda a unwrittin rule if you have a m6 go with the 4.10s if you have a auto go with 3.73's.

But the highway driving doesn't really matter its not much of a difference.
