I have a 97 z28 with 148,000 on the clock that the clutch has gone soft on and need to be replaced. No metal to metal just lots of slipping. My question is this does the PP and flywheel need work to? I am considering doing this clutch my self to save some green but I need advice, hints and tricks. This will be my first time replacing a clutch. I have read that you should have the pp and clutch balance before install what about the flywheel. should I pull it and do anything to it. I local place says they will do it with my parts for 250.00 (bills on 8 mile) Is it worth it to do it myself at this price
