Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

If your tune was never messed with , sensors related to speed density.
Engine Coolant Temp, intake air temp, ect.
Speed Density requires RPM, CTS, IAT, MAP, and TPS.
Car is running. That means the PCM is getting RPM signal.
Coolant Temp sensor will swing the fuel the most out of any other sensor. They typically short out (PCM thinks the engine is cold all the time) or become and open circuit (PCM thinks the engine is warm all the time). From my experience, in normal +60° weather, the engine will start with an open CTS and continue to run all day. It will usually start hard in the winter weather though. On the other hand, a shorted CTS will start when cold then run terribly with a warm engine - and fail to restart when warm.
Intake air temp sensor has a more minimal affect on fueling. This shouldn't cause and engine to shut off or cause a no start to start if the sensors fails.
Manifold absolute pressure sensor is mainly used to calculate load on the engine. It can and will cause odd fueling issues, but in my experience the issues present themselves and RPMs above idle.
The throttle position sensor will mess with the idle if it is adjusted too high, .7v or more usually.
There is more to it all, but that is a simple run down of issues I've encountered.
As far as i know, it has never been tuned. it is a 94 camaro that came with the v6 but it was swapped out for a 95 lt1 that was supposedly just rebuilt when i got the car.
Thanks,
Stephen

well I did a compression test on it today (for the record, that sucked), all cylinders are 140 -145. so its not the rocker arm adjustment. Plugs look rich to me but I didnt do more than let it idle last time it ran. I am going to test the plug wires for resistance next.
Ok.I've had enough. The car still shakes, its better but still not right. I spoke to my hookup at Advanced. Ill get full credit on the Rich Porter towards an MSD optispark. $500.00 but at least Ill have confidence in it.
So Sunday Ill be pulling the water pump and opti.....again.....
I did, I've had several people look at it, everyone says, "yeah, that ain't right". Like I said before, it ran fine with the ebay opti Nick put in it, until it died. No shaking, smooth to about 6k rpms. So Ill throw a new quality opti at It.
