Th400 swap guys

I did a th400 swap on my 98 camaro which was originally a A4. I got everything bolted up and put 10 quarts in it. I started the car and started putting it through the gears and it stalls out in reverse and jumps when it's in 1st than stalls. Another change is that I no longer have abs and the abs inop light is on. Any ideas what it could be?

Also it kinda idles rough and when I pump the brakes the idle evens out. Might have something to do with it as well.

4l60 tells pcm when its in gear so it adds air..
if the convertor is loose it normally isnt much of an issue but some need to use like a dakota digital shift plate to tell the pcm when its in gear

So what do I need to correct it?

Stock shifter? I think they can be made to do it

I have a hurst quarter stick. Does it have anything to do with my abs?

98's are unlike all others. there is a pic in there that says how to turn the lights off. i assume you are still running the a4 tune?

Yea i still have the a4 tune. Oh I see I Couldn't care less about the lights I just want the damn thing to run lol

go get the car tuned and have them switch it to a 6spd instead of the a4

Will that resolve my rough idle as well? A tuning guy on ls1 tech said I'm gunna have to mess with the idle to get it to run, he said flashing it to a m6 isn't going to help me. Any thoughts on that?

I'm sorry he said I'd have to adjust the blade position, to achieve the proper IAC position, and TPS position. How do I adjust it?

Alright the cars idling in reverse now. But once it's out in 1st it jumps and stalls.
