ok so first off this is for my truck a 93 yukon. i need a rear end and without taking the cover off how can you first tell if the rear has posi and secondly what tests can you do to check if it works?

Ok. In a non running vehicle without looming at too.codes because those are.gone. So without driving. What jacking.up method can i use? spin one side fast enough and you might be able to get the flyweights to spin out and catch the pawl, needs to be at least 100 rpm difference

The 14 bolt version (10.5") is much better than the 10 bolt (7.5/7.625")
But yes, they aren't the greatest
Those rears did come with open carriers as well, just open it up and find out.

Well the one I got can do a 5/16 in a single pass. But I guess this is prolly better not to do critical parts with a 110.sigpic
