If its not your first rodeo with a 60. Then you would know the servo is not in the pan. It's on the passenger side of the case. Lol

You should also know that there aren't 2-4 clutches

i meant the forward clutches sorry, but pulled it out and got it apart (took 4 hours total including removing the y pipe) and the 2-4 band has tons of life left on it, but where the pin locks into the band was broken, on the band itself, I have a very deep groove into where that set pin slides, so I need to dremel that smooth and make it slide alittle better, pics in next post, I also need to know where ALL of the check balls in the valve body go.

Very odd point to break on the band. Did you already drop the VB?

Yup dropped the valve body and 2 check
Balls went flying. So I took it to a trans shop
called bills transmissions in taylor off telegraph
and wick. 95$ got me a transgo shiftkit upgrade
and all new broken parts replaced.

got it all back together and on the ground, havent checked to see if its shifting right yet, need trans fluid and to finish my new exhaust, so ill check back in tomorrow,

i made some egr tube block off plates out of a starter shim for the rear of the intake, used rtv for a gasket, and used a 98-02 camaro headlight hold down for the egr tube
on the passenger header, then i pounded a bolt into the header tube, still around a gallon of trans fluid, ran it with open headers and now running it with an open y, still need to get the 02 sensors out of the old exhaust and into the new, which should be fun for the passenger side as i have limited space and have to extend a wire for the 02 to reach, then i have to hook up my AFR gauge and tighten down my driveshaft, man this cars became a money/time pit.

anyone have any 92-93 single wire 02s laying around? theyre 19$ new but no one has any

Exhaust will be finished tomorrow, filled it up with trans fluid (still half a quart low)
Jacked it up in the back and manually shifted it. Went into all gears
As it should.. and got my old o2s out, cleaned them up and installed
Them. Everything but the straight pipe is in for the exhaust.

                  Hopefully I'm barking 2nd soon

Cars finished shifts just how it should. The 2-4 band fixed my issue.

All and all it cost me about 150$ and a few days to fix it.

27$ for the 2-4 band at oreillys, 3$ for a new front pump seal,
3.49 for a front pump to case gasket. 95$ to have bills transmissions
Put it all back together and about 20$ for gas to run around.

                      note

Please note. You DO NOT have to remove the valve body to pull
The front pump and change the band, I did it to have the separator
                      Plate modified for firm shifts.

There is a pin that holds the 2-4 band that is dropped from the VB. While possible to get it out without dropping the pin via the valve body, it isn't worth fighting it to come out through the front. Major PITA that way.

True. But if someone is worried about check balls flying everywhere
Like I was I would rather fight with the pin then find check ball locations.

The reason I posted back saying its fixed is because every post
I checked when I had this problem didn't tell me if and what had fixed
                          The problem.

So to all that find this, you're welcome haha
