Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
I build T56s and would be willing to fix it for you if you want. If it is anything like the corvettes, I would first make very very sure that the shifter alignment hasn't been thrown off somehow.
Also, is there any reason why the PCM's VSS signal may be compromised? custom wiring, etc? The PCM needs to see a low enough Mph to allow reverse. In the corvettes, stock lockout enables at 3mph and disables at 2mph.

I'll keep that in mind. There is no reason the VSS signal would be compromised...I use HPTuners and log vehicle speed all the time.

Where in GR are you located?
I am in Marne.
If you already have HPTuners, try changing the lockout enable/disable points. Try like 150 mph or 0 mph, see if that has any effect. Its a free troubleshoot if nothing else. Otherwise, you could just log VSS and see if anything funky is happening there.

Crazy! My wife and I just moved to Marne last year (pvt drive off 16th about 1/2 mile south of Hayes). I'm surprised we haven't crossed paths.
I have track logs and tuning logs with VSS and nothing funky has showed up.

Haha that's crazy. I'm the idiot still driving the corvette this late in the year. You'll see me around. I'm actually on 24th due west of the race track.
are those logs from a condition that caused the reverse issue? As in, was it hot enough to make it malfunction?
I'm dumb. I just realized something. In the HPT scanner, under the VCM controls, there is a manual reverse lockout on/off toggle. run the car with the scanner on and see if you can manually actuate the solenoid with this controller.
