  • How much for a 10 bolt?

Wasn't sure where to post this.

    What is a 10 bolt worth $?
    1995, 79k miles, M6 car
Been rebuilt once - no receipts
    3.73 richmond gears
    stock posi
    4 channel ABS/TCS
whines between 45 and 55 mph - always has

I'm wanting to get a MWC fab 9 and will need caliper mounts and rear axle reluctor rings for the 4 channel.

Tryin to determine if I can offset the cost of these by selling the 10 bolt complete, no discs,
    or
strip the reluctor rings and caliper mounts off the 10 bolt and try to sell the rest

    What'cha think?

I don't know about lt1 backing plates(caliper mounts), but ls1 are extremely hard to find. I would research how available the backing plates are for your car before selling them with the rear. I sold my 02 10 bolt with 3:73 gears, 24000 miles and a bad whine(also 4 channel) complete for $225. Might of even had calipers, can't remember now. Lol. Only reason I sold my backing plates with rear is because the used 9" I bought came with backing plates. Hope that helps, a little...

So wait, your car has Traction Control on a 95? Or was this swapped in at some time.

Yes original traction control, TCS/ABS. It was an option in 95. Not many of them.
Would be cool to find out how many were made.

I would say around the $200 mark.

Would this rear work on a 99 SS? The reason I ask my buddy may be interested if it works ofcourse.

if the carrier is howling at that speed id have it checked. but yes it would work in a 99 SS if you change the backing plates for LS1 plates.
